The Firsby Group Parish Council comprises of the parishes of:
- Bratoft
- Firsby
- Great Steeping
- Irby in the Marsh
- Little Steeping
Located between the market town of Spilsby and the coastal resort of Skegness in Lincolnshire.
Firsby Group Parish Council members all give their time voluntarily.
They receive no allowances or reward for their time and are not elected on a political platform.
The Firsby Group Parish Council meet on the third Wednesday of each month apart from August when there is no meeting. The meetings rotate around the five parishes to ensure an equal presence in each village.
Minutes of meetings are published bi-monthly as part of the Parish Council's newsletter, which is distributed to every household in the Group by volunteers.
